Wayne Aunspaugh, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend, passed away peacefully on Saturday, September 27th, 2025, at the age of 64. Born on Monday, June 12th, 1961, in Brinkley, Arkansas, Wayne spent his final years in Blakely, Georgia, surrounded by the love of his family.
Wayne is survived by his devoted wife, Marion Aunspaugh, who stood by his side through life's many adventures. Together, they built a family filled with love and cherished memories. He leaves behind his children, Justin Lee Gowan (Jessica) and Wayne Marshall Aunspaugh, III (Robyn), who will forever hold his teachings and love in their hearts.
A proud grandfather, Wayne adored his grandchildren: Jeremiah Gowan, Jordan Gowan, Joseph Gowan, Caden Tipton, Wyatt Aunspaugh, and Emersyn Aunspaugh. His legacy will live on through them, as they carry forward his spirit and values.
Wayne is also survived by his siblings, who shared in the joys and challenges of life with him: Jeffery Aunspaugh (Carlene) of Clearlake Oaks, CA, Vanessa Coe (Bill) of Little River Academy, TX, Johnny Ray Collins (Brandy) of Statham, GA, Amanda Wooten (Elvis) of Brinkley, AK, Justin Aunspaugh of Brinkley, AK, and Lewis Aunspaugh of Brinkley, AK. His mother, Mary Wade McDougald, survives him as well, along with several nieces and nephews who will miss their uncle dearly.
He was preceded in death by his parents, LeRoy and Pauline Aunspaugh, Marshall Aunspaugh, and Henry McDougald "Papa Mac", who welcomed him into eternal rest.
Wayne faced life's challenges with resilience and grace, having been disabled for many years. Despite this, he remained a source of strength and inspiration to those around him.
Funeral services will be held at Centerville Methodist Church, Friday, October 3, 2025, at 2:00 p.m., officiated by Rev. Lori Lewis and Rev. James Scarborough. Interment will follow in Centerville Cemetery. Visitation will be held at Manry-Jordan-Hodges Funeral Home Thursday evening, October 2, 2025 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. His family invites all who knew Wayne to join in celebrating his life and cherishing the memories he leaves behind.

Wayne will be remembered for his unwavering love for his family, his gentle spirit, and his ability to bring warmth and kindness to all who knew him. He will be deeply missed but never forgotten.
