Tony Rogers

Tony Rogers, 83, of Blakely, Georgia, passed away Monday, July 6, 2026, at Southeast Health in Dothan, Alabama.

A native of Blakely, Tony was born September 22, 1943, to James Carroll Rogers and Agnes Russell Rogers. He was a retired merchant with Rogers Bros. Feed Mill, Inc. Tony was also a Shriner and a member of the Blakely Drum and Bugle Corps.

He is survived by his son, Anthony Bryan Rogers of Edison, Georgia; and his sisters, Sylvia Rogers Stovall (John Reid) of Wooster, Ohio, and Gayle Rogers Harper (Don) of Blakely, Georgia. Tony was preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Lynn Rogers Hayes.

At Tony’s request, his body was donated to science to support the study of health sciences and benefit others in the future. A memorial visitation will be held at a later date for friends and relatives to gather and share memories of Tony.
