Shirley Ann Sims, 89, of Blakely, Ga. passed away July 22, 2024 at Southeast Health in Dothan, Al. Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, July 24, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. at Colomokee Baptist Church with Rev. Josh White, Rev. Fred Odom, and Rev. T.J. Bennett officiating. The family will receive visitors prior to the service, at the church, from 10:00 -11:00. Interment will follow at Colomokee Baptist Church Cemetery. Pallbearers for the service will be Shirley’s Grandsons and Great-grandsons. Shirley was born March 21, 1935 in Akron, Ohio to the late Thomas Littlefield and Tomie Perry Littlefield. She was married to the late Rev. Harry Lee Sims for 55 years. Shirley was a school teacher and Pastor’s wife. She was a member of Colomokee Baptist Church, where she and her husband served earlier in their ministry. In addition to her parents, Shirley was predeceased by her husband, Rev. Harry Sims, and her siblings, Odell Littlefield, Lois Cathey, D.H. Littlefield, Doris Huml, Lewis Littlefield, and Buster Littlefield. She is survived by her daughters, Debra Jarrett (Eric) of Panama City Beach Fl., Sandra Mayo (Mike) of Satsuma, Al., and Sherry Harrell (Greg) of Valdosta, Ga., grandchildren, Eric Jarrett, Jr. (Samantha), Jason Jarrett (Brandi), Lauren Pickett (Adam), Christen Stinson (Haley), Sean Harrell (Julie), Brandon Harrell, and Christopher Harrell, and great-grand children, Brack Jarrett, Kash Jarrett, Benjamin Jarrett, John Jarrett, Caroline Jarrett, Joseph Jarrett, Katherine Pickett, Kash Pickett, and Kayden Pickett. Manry Jordan Hodges Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
