Ronald David Evans

Ronald David Evans, a beloved father, brother, and friend, passed away peacefully on Thursday, August 13th, 2026, at the age of 67. Born on December 24th, 1958, in Macon, Georgia, Ronald was a cherished resident of Calhoun County, GA, where he spent his life serving his community with dedication and honor.

Ronald proudly served his country as a member of the United States Navy before embarking on a distinguished career in law enforcement. His commitment to protecting and serving others was evident throughout his life, and he was deeply respected by his colleagues and the community he served.

He is survived by his children, Rebecca Lynn "Becky" Eubanks and her husband Derek, and Jason Randall Odom. Ronald also leaves behind his dear siblings, Patricia A. Logue and James Randy Evans, as well as his special friend, Teresa Lawson, who brought joy and companionship to his later years.

Ronald was preceded in death by his parents, James David Evans and Jean R. Evans, who undoubtedly welcomed him with open arms.

A memorial service to celebrate Ronald's life will be held on Friday, August 28th, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. at Manry-Jordan-Hodges Funeral Home. Friends and family are invited to gather for a visitation one hour prior to the service at the same location. In honor of Ronald's service, honorary pallbearers will include members of the law enforcement community.
