Faye Clark, 74, of Edison, Georgia, passed away peacefully on March 23, 2026, surrounded by the love of her family.
Born on June 22, 1951, in Edison, Faye was a lifelong member of the community she loved so deeply. She was a devoted wife, a proud mother and grandmother, and the heart of her family. To know her was to feel her kindness, her warmth, and her steady, unconditional love.
She shared 45 wonderful years of marriage with her husband, Jim Clark, who was the love of her life. Together they built a home filled with faith, strength, and unwavering devotion to their family.
Faye’s greatest joy was her children and grandchildren. She is survived by her son, Shane Mock (Angela) of Blakely, GA, and her daughter, Candace Davis (William) of Blakely, GA. She was a proud and loving grandmother to Dusti Davis (Preston Money), Marli Mock, and Noah Davis, who brought endless happiness to her life.
She is also survived by her sisters, Vonne Guynn and Sandra McCorkle, both of Bluffton, GA, and Diane Ragan (Bob) of Carnegie, GA; Her loving Mother-in-law Charlene Clark of Edison, GA; brother-in-laws John Clark of Albany, GA and Gary Clark of Edison, GA; and her very special Florida Family.
She was preceded in death by her parents, John Mote and Elizabeth Frisby; her beloved son, Dustin Ryan Clark; her sister, Betty Shippey; and Father-in-law Charles Clark. Faye was a member of the Edison Church of Christ. Her strong faith guided her life. She lived her beliefs daily through her compassion, generosity, and the way she cared for others.
More than anything, Faye will be remembered for the love she gave so freely. She was the one her family leaned on, the one who made everything feel like home. Her presence was a comfort, her smile a light, and her love a gift that will live on in all who knew her.
