Raymond E. Hardy, 85, of Blakely, passed away peacefully at his residence, Thursday, January 15, 2026. Born on January 4, 1941, in Miller County, GA; Raymond lived a life full of love, dedication, and service to his family and friends.
A retired truck driver, Raymond was known for his hard work, resilience, and unwavering spirit. He was deeply rooted in his Baptist faith, which provided him guidance throughout his life and was a source of strength during challenging times.
Raymond was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Sandra Hardy, with whom he shared 55 wonderful years of marriage. He also reunited with his loving daughter, Kimberly Wamble, his parents, Cletus Hardy and Merle Baggett and a sister Louise Evans.
He leaves behind a loving family, including his children Chris Hardy, Dustin Hardy, and Tracy Wiley, all of Blakely, as well as Keith Money (Brenda) of Newville, AL; Eric Money (Shelly) of Abbeville, AL; and David Money (Stephanie) of Edwin, AL. Raymond's legacy continues with his 28 grandchildren and 37 great-grandchildren, who brought immense joy to his life. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Raymond's life will be celebrated at a funeral service on Thursday, January 22, 2026, at 11:00 AM in the Chapel of Manry-Jordan-Hodges Funeral Home. Friends and family are invited to pay their respects during the visitation on Wednesday, January 21, 2026, from 6-8 PM at the funeral home.
Though his presence will be dearly missed, Raymond E. Hardy's legacy will live on in the hearts of all who knew him. The family expresses their heartfelt gratitude to all who have reached out during this time of loss and invites you to join them in celebrating his remarkable life.
