Randall Richardson Sr

Randall "Pap" Richardson Sr., a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, passed away peacefully on Friday, July 31st, 2026, at the age of 89. Born on October 8th, 1936, in Colquitt, Georgia, Randall was a cherished member of the Blakely, GA community, where he resided after spending many years in his birthplace of Colquitt.

Randall was a dedicated farmer and skilled cropduster, known for his hard work and commitment to his craft. Beyond his professional life, he was a man of many talents and passions. He found great joy in playing golf and was an accomplished guitarist and singer, often sharing his love for music with family and friends.

He is survived by his devoted wife, Brenda Joyce Richardson of Blakely, GA, and his loving children: Randall "Randy" Richardson and partner Sheila "PNut" Miller of Colquitt, GA; Kim Chambless and husband Chris of Colquitt, GA; Cindy Hiatt of Ft. Gaines, GA; Debbie Smith and husband Bubba of Iron City, GA; and Angie Durham and husband LaDon of Blakely, GA. Randall was a proud grandfather to 10 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren, who will all miss his warmth and wisdom. Randall is also survived by his siblings, Juan Richardson and Joan Richardson Peterson (Henry). He was preceded in death by his parents, Louis and Lillian Richardson, and his sisters, Elva "Perdita" Richardson Whittaker and Neysa "Lyvonne" Richardson Tatum.

A graveside service to honor Randall's life will be held at Bush Cemetery in Blakely, Georgia, on Tuesday, August 4th, 2026, at 10:00 am. Rev. Wade Spooner will officiate the service. Pallbearers will include Jay Tindell, LaDon Durham, Adam Raines, Tyler Durham, Charlie Hiatt, and John Hiatt.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Manry-Jordan-Hodges Funeral Home. Randall's legacy of love, laughter, and dedication will forever be cherished by all who knew him.
