Mrs. Peggy Davis Williams Willoughby, 86, of Blakely passed away peacefully on Wednesday, December 9, 2020.
A graveside service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 12, 2020, in Blakely Cemetery.The family will receive friends from 2-2:45 at Manry-Jordan-Hodges Funeral Home, prior to the graveside.In lieu of flowers, please make memorial donations to Northside Methodist Church, 2600 Redmond Rd., Dothan, AL36303.
Mrs. Peggy was born on May 14, 1934 in Blakely to the late George "Byrd" Davis and Etteem Temples Davis.She was a graduate of Hilton High School and retired from the Early County Sherriff's Department where she worked as a dispatcher.Mrs. Peggy was a member of Southside Baptist Church, Albany, GA.
Survivors include her two sons, Randall Williams and his wife Beth and Paul Williams and his wife Debbie, both of Dothan, AL; five grandchildren, Heather Alderman (Justin Hunt), Chelsea Brown, Payton Williams (Miranda), Hannah Franklin (Garrett), and Paige Shiver (Will); four great-grandchildren; and three siblings, Loretta Alexander of Albany, GA, Barbara Jean Barron (John) of Blakely, and Jimmy Davis (Alice) of Atlanta, GA; and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two husbands, Matthew Ray Williams and Paul W. Willoughby; a daughter, Sandra Kay Williams; her twin grandchildren, Matthew Lee and Kayla Jo Williams; and six siblings, Buck Davis, Linda Sims, Billy Davis, Tony Davis, George "Scaper" Davis, and Betty Sue Davis.
