Paul Joseph DeFerrari

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Paul Joseph DeFerrari, who departed this life on Sunday, May 25th, 2025, at the age of 66. Born on Wednesday, May 20th, 1959, in Boston, Massachusetts, Paul was a beloved resident of Blakely, Georgia, where he spent his later years.

Paul was a dedicated professional in the field of financial services, specializing in credit repair. His commitment to helping others achieve financial stability was a testament to his generous spirit and unwavering dedication to his work.

A passionate enthusiast of the rock group Queen, Paul found joy and inspiration in their music, which he often shared with those around him. His love for music was just one of the many ways he connected with others and brought joy to their lives.

Paul is survived by his best friend and partner, Ray Allen Weeks, Sr., and a child, Ray Allen Weeks, Jr. (Melissa Lynn) of Jenkinsburg, GA. He was a proud grandfather to Kaedin Allen Weeks and Riley Everett Weeks, both of Jenkinsburg, GA. Paul also leaves behind his dear nieces and nephews, Melissa Litschi (Wen Hsieh and son Ethan) of Allentown, PA, Frey Litschi of Dayton, OH, Joseph (and son Remington) Litschi of Stroudsburg, PA and Matt Van Duyne (Maita and children Melia and Marius) of Atlanta, GA, as well as his brother-in-law, Eric Litschi of Stroudsburg, PA. His goddaughter, Annecia Lewis (and son Jayden Lewis) of Greenville, NC, as well as several cousins and relatives also survive him.

Paul was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph I DeFerrari and Joan Marie DeFerrari, and his sister, Lisa Marie DeFerrari Litschi. Their memories will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew and loved them.

Family and friends are invited to pay their respects during a visitation at Manry Jordan Hodges Funeral Home on Saturday, May 31st, 2025, from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm. A funeral service will follow at 12:00 pm at the same location, where we will celebrate Paul's life and the indelible mark he left on all who knew him.
