Patricia Ruth Rapelje

Patricia Ruth Rapelje, cherished wife, devoted mother, loving grandmother, and dear friend to many, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, July 29th, 2026, at the age of 72. Patricia was born on Sunday, March 21st, 1954, in Memphis, Tennessee, and later settled in the warm embrace of Blakely, Georgia, where she touched the lives of everyone she met.

Patricia was a devoted wife to her beloved husband of 55 years, Donald John Rapelje. Together, they built a strong and loving family, highlighted by their three children: Donna Grumbach (Peter) of Houston, TX; Barbara Ann Revells of Blakely, GA; and Donald Marcus Rapelje, Jr. of Blakely, GA. Her love extended to her six grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren, who brought immense joy and light to her life. Patricia is also survived by her brother, Charles Seward (Phyllis) of Kentucky, her sister, Miranda Kolonusz (John), and several cherished nieces and nephews.

Predeceased by her mother, Ruth Pinegar, Patricia's legacy of kindness, warmth, and devotion will continue to inspire her family and all who had the privilege of knowing her. During her lifetime, Patricia effortlessly balanced her roles as a dedicated waitress and a nurturing homemaker. Her unswerving commitment to her family and work radiated a sense of grace and strength that formed the cornerstone of her life.
