Mrs. Ollie Mae Page Gowan, 103, of Blakely, GA passed away on Monday, August 31, 2026 surrounded by her loving daughters. Born in Clay County, GA on June 22, 1923 to the Late Willie Roy Page and Annie Mae Faircloth Page, Mrs. Gowan lived a full life of love and dedication to her family.
A devoted seamstress, who spent 24 years with Bruce Snyder Industries, Mrs. Gowan also enjoyed spending time in her yard and enjoying all the pretty flowers. Later years she enjoyed being a homemaker, enjoying time with grandchildren, great grandchildren and even the great great-grands.
Mrs. Gowan is survived by her girls: Judy Gowan Knight, Janice Gowan Floyd (Walter), and Jane Gowan Worthy all of Blakely, and June Gowan Kimbrel (Don) of Leary. 8 Grandchildren, 19 Great Grandchildren, and 8 Great Great-Grandchildren, also surviving are many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Mrs. Gowan was preceded in death by her loving husband, J.W. Gowan, her parents, Granddaughter, Dana Marie Knight Norris, Great Grandsons, Todd Daniels, and Jacob William Hall. She was also preceded in death by Brothers, Marvin Page, Buddy Page, Billy Page, and her sister, Lottie Ruth Page Gowan. Her sons-in-law, Carey Knight and Roy Worthy.
Graveside Services will be held on Thursday, September 3, 2026, at 11:00 AM at Centerville Methodist Church, Blakely, GA, with Dr. Alex Howell officiating.
The family will gather at the home of Judy Knight, 18377 Ga 39 Blakely, GA 39823.
