Marion Joseph Tedder

Marion Joseph “Joe” Tedder, a resident of Blakely, Georgia, passed away on Tuesday, August 11, 2026, at the age of 71. Joe, as he was affectionately known, was born on August 8, 1955, in his beloved hometown of Blakely, Georgia.

For most of his life, Joe was a committed paper mill worker at Georgia Pacific, where his dedication was evident to all who knew him. Outside of work, Joe found joy in the open road, where he indulged his adventurous spirit on his Harley Davidson motorcycle.

Joe is survived by his daughter, Kelley Grillo, and her husband Andrew of Milton, GA; his grandchildren, Greyson Grillo and Nelson Grillo. He is also survived by his three sisters, Peggy Nerren (Phillip) of Huntington, TX, Suzanne White (Robert) of Palm Coast, FL, and Lisa Simmons (Terry) of Blakely, GA, along with several nieces and nephews. Joe was preceded in death by his father, Marion Reese Tedder, and his mother, Mary Louise Tedder.

A remembrance gathering will be planned at a later date. The arrangements have been thoughtfully handled by Manry-Jordan-Hodges Funeral Home.
