Louise Tedder, 87, of Blakely, Ga. passed away July 10, 2024. A graveside service will be held Monday, July 15, 2024 at 10:00 a.m. at Bush Cemetery. Rev. Wade Spooner will be officiating. Visitation will be held Sunday, July 14, 2024 from 3:00-5:00 at Manry Jordan Hodges Funeral Home. Serving as pallbearers are her grandsons, Drake Nerren, Pryde Nerren, Namath White, Gabriel White, River Koumas, and Wyatt Koumas. Louise was born October 5, 1936 in Blakely, Ga. to the late Jimmy Eugene Blackburn and Ida Lena Blackburn. She was married to the late Marion Reese Tedder. Louise was a seamstress and worked at Geneva’s Fabrics for many years. She was a member of Cuba Presbyterian Church. In addition to her parents and husband, Louise was predeceased by brothers, Lamar Blackburn, Lester Blackburn, Ottis Blackburn and Byron Blackburn, and sisters, Ruth Harrell and Florrie Jones. She is survived by son Joe Tedder, daughters, Peggy Nerren (Phillip), Suzanne White (Robert), and Lisa Simmons (Terry), grandchildren, Kelley Grillo (Andrew), Carmen Palmer (Derrick), Namath White (Christina), Gabriel White, Darby DeVane, Lindsey Hatcher (Eric), Drake Nerren (Sara), and Pryde Nerren (Kassidy), great-grandchildren, River Koumas, Wyatt Koumas, Daegan DeVane, Cainen Palmer, Delayna DeVane, Elliott Hatcher, Reece White, Greyson Grillo, Paisley Palmer, Nelson Grillo, Hazel Hatcher, and Kohen Nerren, and a great-great grandchild, Collins Koumas. Several nieces and nephews also survive. Manry Jordan Hodges Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
