Julie Ann Pittman, a beloved resident of Fort Gaines, Georgia, passed away peacefully on Saturday, October 31, 2026, at the age of 69. Born on December 19, 1956, in Tampa, Florida, Julie lived a life full of love, adventure, and dedication to her family and community.

Julie was a devoted commercial fisherman, a career that reflected her love for the outdoors and her adventurous spirit. Her hard work and dedication were admired by all who knew her, and she was respected in her field for her tenacity and skill.

Julie was preceded in death by her loving husband, Lloyd Pittman, and her cherished son, Lloyd Lavon Pittman. She was also preceded by her parents, Sylvester George Storey and Frances Joy Shockley Payne, her brother-in-law, Gary Curran, and her uncle, Ferrell Wallace Storey.

She is survived by her siblings, Sylvia Curran of Fort Gaines, GA, Gloria Lane of Kenser, FL, and Jim Sylvester Storey (Sheila) of Marianna, FL. Julie also leaves behind several nieces and nephews who will forever cherish her memory and the love she shared with them.

A graveside service to honor Julie's life will be held at New Park Cemetery in Fort Gaines, GA, on Tuesday, November 3, 2026, at 3:00 pm. The service will be officiated by Rev. Jeff Hines, who will lead family and friends in celebrating Julie's life and legacy.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Manry-Jordan-Hodges Funeral Home, who have provided compassionate care and support to the family during this difficult time.

Julie Ann Pittman will be remembered for her unwavering love for her family, her dedication to her work, and her vibrant spirit that touched the lives of everyone she met. She will be deeply missed but forever remembered in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.
