James Clifford Price, Sr.

James Clifford Price Sr., a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and friend, passed away peacefully on Thursday, April 3rd, 2025, at the age of 55. Born on Tuesday, December 16th, 1969, James was a lifelong resident of Blakely, Georgia, where he was known for his warm heart and unwavering dedication to his family and community. James spent his career as a tire mechanic, a profession he was passionate about and excelled in. His work ethic and commitment to helping others were evident in every task he undertook. He was a man who took pride in his work and found joy in the simple pleasures of life. James is survived by his devoted wife, Maria Price, who stood by his side through life's many adventures. He leaves behind a loving family, including his children, James Price-McLoyd (Anthony), Casey Lee Price, and Dawn Marie Williams (Brent), who will forever cherish the memories they shared with their father. James was also a proud grandfather to Ashley Grace Williams, who brought immense joy to his life. He is also survived by his father, Tilman Price (Judith), and his brother, Chris Roberts, along with several nieces who will miss their uncle dearly. James was preceded in death by his mother, Jackie Moats Roberts. A memorial service to celebrate James's life will be held at a later date. Arrangements are being handled by Manry-Jordan-Hodges Funeral Home.
