Blakely

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Christopher Cary Logan, a beloved son, father, brother and friend. Born on Thursday, August 17, 1967, in Atlanta, Ga., Chris departed this life on Sunday, April 5, 2026, at the age of 58. He was a cherished resident of Blakely, Ga., where he touched the lives of many with his kindness and generosity.

Chris was a proud graduate of the University of Georgia and dedicated his professional life to serving as a crop adjuster. His work was a testament to his commitment to the agricultural community and his love for the land.

A devoted member of the First Methodist Church of Blakely, Chris was actively involved in the Men's Sunday School Class, the Methodist Men's Christmas Program, the Chancel Choir and various small groups. His faith and dedication to his church community were evident in all he did.

Chris was an avid fisher and hunter, finding joy and camaraderie in the pursuit of deer, duck, quail and dove. His love for fishing and the outdoors was matched only by his love for his family and friends.

He is survived by his loving parents, Charles Cary Logan Jr., and Carleen Grey Logan; his son, Taft Logan, and daughter-in-law, Page, of Leesburg, Ga. He also leaves behind his brother, Chuck Logan, and sister-in-law, Merritt, of Albany, Ga.; his cherished niece and nephews, Grey Logan, Howell Logan and John Logan; and his uncles and aunts, Claude Bell (Rachel) of Blakely, Carlie A Bell Jr., of Ft. Myers, Fla., Dr. Doug and Becky Rollins, and Madelon Rushing of Birmingham, Ala. Chris's best friend, Cleve McFay of Blakely, and his beloved fur baby, Lola, will miss him dearly.

The family will receive friends for visitation at the First Methodist Church in Blakely, on Friday, April 10, 2026, from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m. A funeral service will follow at 2 p.m., officiated by Rev. Tucker Lewis.
