Charlene W. Stewart, a beloved resident of Blakely, Georgia, passed away peacefully on Thursday, January 8th, 2026, at the age of 83. Born on Wednesday, January 28th, 1942, in Blakely, Charlene lived a life full of love, dedication, and service to her family and community.

Charlene was a devoted homemaker, whose warmth and kindness touched the lives of everyone she met. Her home was a sanctuary of love and laughter, where family and friends were always welcome. She was a pillar of strength and a source of unwavering support for her family, who will miss her dearly.

Charlene is survived by her loving children: D'Arsey Stewart, Jr. (Neva) of Ashford, AL; Wyndy Smalley (Travis) of Augusta, GA; and Randy Stewart (Amy) of Tallahassee, FL. She was a proud grandmother to Jessica Engram Tedder (Jason), Raychel Engram Howard (Tom), Nick Westbrook (Brooke), Steven Westbrook (Kaitlin), Brittany Wilkerson Nolan (Kyle), Trey Stewart, Katherine Stewart Turner (Randy), Kyle Stewart (Lena), Kasey Stewart, Blake Enfinger, Gavin Enfinger, Caleb Smalley, and a cherished great-grandmother to 19 great-grandchildren. Her legacy of love and family values will continue to live on through them.

Charlene was preceded in death by her parents, Charlie and Ilene Williford, and her beloved husband, D'Arsey Stewart Sr., with whom she shared 58 wonderful years. She was also predeceased by her children Theresa Allison and Elaine Engram, great-grandchild Leda Tedder, as well as siblings, Eloise Singletary and Charlie Williford, Jr.

A funeral service to honor and celebrate Charlene's life will be held at Manry-Jordan-Hodges Funeral Home, on Monday, January 12, 2026 at 11:00 a.m. Friends and family are invited to gather for a visitation one hour prior to the service. Following the service, Charlene will be laid to rest at Blakely Cemetery, where she will be surrounded by the love of her family and friends. Nick Westbrook will be officiating the service.

Pallbearers for the service will be Taylor Engram, Gavin Enfinger, Blake Enfinger, Kasey Stewart, Kyle Stewart, and Steven Westbrook who will carry Charlene to her final resting place with the same love and respect she showed them throughout her life.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Manry-Jordan-Hodges Funeral Home, who have provided compassionate care and support to the Stewart family during this difficult time.

Charlene W. Stewart will be remembered for her gentle spirit, her unwavering love for her family, and her dedication to making the world a better place. She will be deeply missed but forever cherished in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.
