Carol Patricia "Pat" Evans Cowart, 76, of 129 Lacey Road, Blakely, GA, passed away at her residence this morning, Saturday, December 28, 2019.Her funeral will be at Cedar Springs Freewill Baptist Church, Tuesday, December 31, 2019, at 1 pm with Rev. William Smith officiating.Burial will be at the Cedar Springs Freewill Baptist Church Cemetery. Active Pallbearers will be Nick Evans, Jason Lord, Marcus Lane, Harley Lane, Daniel Downing and Timothy Ready. Honorary Pallbearers will be Zack Lord,Adam Wilkerson, Tim Evans and Boyd
Evans. The family will receive friends for visitation on Monday, December 30, 2019, from 6 to 8 pm at Manry Jordan Hodges Funeral Home.

Pat was born January 23, 1943 in Cedar Springs, GA, to the late Samuel Edward Evans and Mary Elizabeth Weaver Evans.She was a homemaker and a member of the Cedar Springs Freewill Baptist Church.Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Edward Cowart.

Her survivors include a daughter; Melissa A. Cowart; three sons, Michael Cowart, Mark Cowart and fiance' Kimberly Williams, Matthew Cowart and Loretta all of Blakely, GA; three brothers, Roy Evans of Blakely, GA; Martin Evans and Gail of Blakely, GA and Bill Evans of Cedar Springs, GA.She is also survived by eight grandchildren; Samantha Cowart, Lanita Cowart, Gracie Cowart, Marcus Lane, Harley Lane, Marlena Williams, Tonya Glass and Ana Hendley.
