It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Bobby Lynn Heath, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend. Bobby passed away peacefully on Saturday, January 17, 2026, at the age of 70, in his residence in Blakely, GA.
Bobby was born on Wednesday, August 31, 1955, in Lexington, NC, to his late parents, Henry and Louise Heath. He was also preceded in death by his brother, Leon Heath.
Bobby is survived by his loving wife of 31 years, Patsy Heath, and his children: Tatina Tucker (Mark) of Sylvester, GA, Bobby Heath (Pam) of Metter, GA, Matthew Heath (Sunny) of Adel, GA, Wesley Bruner (Rebeca) of Tallahassee, FL, and Michelle Peace (Chris) of Blakely. He is also lovingly remembered by his siblings: Sarah Altman, Shirley Dowda (Bill), Matresa Brooks (David), Dorinda Heath, Vickie Sue Kilgore (Jimmy), John Heath (Beverly), and Timmy Heath. Bobby was a proud grandfather to 16 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren and leaves behind many nieces and nephews.
Bobby dedicated his career to human resources, working for the City of Tallahassee, where he was known for his kindness, integrity, and diligence. He was an active member of Capital Heights Baptist Church in Tallahassee, FL, contributing his time and energy to his community and faith, as he was also an Ordained Minister of the gospel. Bobby was also an avid fisherman, loved sitting on the creek bank or enjoying the beach.
A Celebration of Bobby's Life will be held on Wednesday, January 21, 2026, at 11:00 AM in the Chapel of Manry-Jordan-Hodges Funeral Home. Family and friends are invited to gather for a visitation from 10:00 to 11:00 AM, prior to the service, to pay their respects and share their cherished memories.
