Anne Morgan Jenkins, a beloved member of the Blakely, Georgia community, passed away peacefully on Thursday, July 9th, 2026, at the age of 89. Born on April 22nd, 1937, in Blakely, Georgia, Anne lived a life full of love, dedication, and service to her family and community.
Anne was a devoted receptionist at Doctors Taylor and Prchal & Prchal Optometrist Office, where she worked for many years, greeting everyone with her warm smile and kind heart. She was a member of New Hope Baptist Church, where she found joy and fellowship.
Anne was preceded in death by her loving husband, Thurman Wilburn Jenkins, her parents, Leon Morgan and Mary Belle Williams, her daughter Emily Anne Wilbourn, her son Thurman Wilburn Jenkins, Jr, and her brothers Rodney Williams and Tony Williams.
She is survived by her cherished daughter, Leslie Jill Craft of Blakely, GA, and her grandchildren Cale Craft, Kayla Craft, Whit Wilbourn, and Angel Davis who brought immense joy to her life. Anne was also blessed with great-grandchildren Aubrey Craft, Eric Wilbourn, John Logan Joyner, Tom Davis, Chyenne Franklin, J.B. Colt Franklin, and Bo Davis, who will carry on her legacy of love and kindness.
Anne is also survived by her brothers Ralph J. Williams (Crissy) of Gainesville, FL, and Arthur Perry Williams of Blakely, GA, along with several nieces, nephews, and cousins. She is also survived by a special friend, Clarence Still, and a dear friend Barbara Hodges, who will all miss her dearly.
A visitation will be held at Manry Jordan Hodges Funeral Home on Tuesday, July 14th, 2026, from 10:00 am to 11:00 am, followed by a funeral service at 11:00 am at the same location. Pallbearers will include Brad Waller, Buddy Jenkins, Trey Davis, Tim Craft, Mike Still, and Eugene Menettee.
Arrangements are provided by Manry-Jordan-Hodges Funeral Home. Anne's family extends their heartfelt gratitude to all who have offered their support and condolences during this difficult time.
Anne Jenkins will be remembered for her unwavering faith, her dedication to her family, and her generous spirit. She leaves behind a legacy of love and compassion that will continue to inspire all who knew her.
